Editorial Policy

Mission

Hibipa publishes readable film criticism for readers who care about craft, context, and honest recommendation. Our homepage rotates discovery rails to keep browsing lively, but rotation never weakens editorial standards.

Independence

Advertising may fund infrastructure; it does not assign reviews, alter scores, or reorder verdict paragraphs. Editors do not sell favorable coverage. Any future sponsored module would carry clear disclosure adjacent to the unit.

Scores and methodology

Numeric ratings summarize a holistic judgment at publication time. They are not statistical aggregates of audience polls. When alternate cuts materially change a film, we may append notes or publish updates.

Screeners and access

If hospitality could influence tone—travel, gifts, or unusually controlled environments—we disclose it in the review or an accompanying note. Silence means no such arrangement applied.

Corrections

Factual errors (dates, credits, plot-sensitive misstatements) are corrected promptly with a timestamped note when the mistake could mislead readers about what appears on screen.

Dynamic homepage

Client-side randomization reorders rails and hero compositions so repeat visits feel curated rather than frozen. The same editorial pool and policies apply regardless of layout; no paid placement can “buy” hero placement.
